I purchased one of these knives about 5 years ago, and I don't regret it; however, there are some issues. The rosewood is beautiful and very durable, but it is not level with the end of the brass bolsters. I know this is because of the release mechanism, but a tapered end would be much nicer. The brass bolsters themselves require constant care if you want them to maintain their shine. Also, I opted for the kriss blade, which was a mistake. Although it is fine quality, sharpening it is inconvienent. I have fairly large hands, spanning about 9" overall, and this knife--with an overall length of 11 inches--is just too big for me.

All that being said, I'm placing an order for a 9" stiletto right now. Good company, great service.
